Our adventure begins as we depart Australia's first heritage city, Broken Hill on an outback adventure. Our first day's journey will take us through Burra, arriving at our overnight accommodation in Clare Valley. We'll take the opportunity to taste some of the local wines that this region is renowned for as we explore this iconic destination.

On our second day, we will travel from Clare Valley to Wilpena Pound, passing through Hawker and Rawnsley Bluff on our way to our accommodation for the next two nights in Wilpena Pound Resort. You'll be the envy of all of your friends as we enjoy the luxury of Wilpena's Safari Tents (with included ensuites!).

During our time at Wilpena Pound we'll take the opportunity to explore the Old Hills Homestead, Brachina and Bunyeroo Gorges, Blinman, Parachilna Gorge, Prairie Hotel and the Moralana Scenic Drive along with other iconic destinations and sights.

From Wilpena Pound we travel to Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary for a 2 night stay at the Arkaroola Wilderness Resort. During our travel we will take the time to experience Wirrealpa, Chambers Gorge and some spectacular indigenous engravings that have been dated to be thousands of years old.

One of the highlight's of this tour is the resort's renowned Ridgetop Tour along the Ridgetop Track to experience views over Freeling Heights, Lake Frome and the deserts beyond. To complete the experience we stop for afternoon tea at Sillers Lookout. While in Arkaroola there are also opportunities for bush walks and/or an astonomy tour at one of Arkaroola's three observatories.

Arkaroola is home to the elusive and endangered yellow-footed rock wallaby. If we are lucky, we may spot a few of these beautiful and shy creatures on our adventure.

The adventure concludes in Broken Hill in the late afternon of Day 6 on our itinerary. This leaves us with plenty of time to explore the outback as we travel to Broken Hill from Arkaroola, stopping for lunch along the way.
